Active Edge Assistant seems slow,...

Hey, All...

I love active edge, and often squeeze to use it. However, sometimes it just feels sooooo sluggish. Squeeze, wait, talk, only to have it. Miss the first few words, which are often the most important.

'hey Google' seems to work way faster and never misses a word. This seems backwards to me.

Anyone else have a similar experience?

I always forget to squeeze and say OK Google , yes there is a bit of delay, I think sometimes it's your signal to going to Google or how busy the server is

Could be internet connection/speed. Mine is fine when I have a good connection.

Is there a way to activate the squeeze gesture without then having to unlock the phone? Every time I use this feature I'm then asked for my fingerprint and it's annoying when the phone is locked.
