Active edge in immersive mode.

Is there a way to turn active edge on in immersive mode? I prefer having the extra screen estate and using pie controls instead of the navigation bar but don't wanna miss out on the squeeze functionality.

Nope. Active edge will not work when the navbar is hidden. Google did that on purpose, so when you're using an app like YouTube or Netflix an accidental squeeze won't interrupt playback.
