Activesync or similar when connecting to PC

My works security policies prevent me from using exchange on my GN. I had the same issue on my Dinc but I could plug my Dinc into my laptop and use activesync to sync my outlook calendar to my phone. I tried doing this with the GN but there is no activesync like option to allow me to do this. I dont need my outlook email to sync to my phone just the calendar from outlook to sync. Any suggestions how to make this happen?

I would suggest gSyncit. (Fieldston Software - gSyncit - Sync Outlook and Google Calendars, Contacts, Notes and Tasks - Toodledo - Evernote)
It's an addin for Outlook that will sync your Outlook calendar (and/or contacts) with your gmail accounts.
It's highly configurable and works great. I used it for a while until I got my Exchange account setup.
I would definitely recommend it. I think there is a demo available to try.
On the phone, all you have to do is configure your Outlook account for the standard "push" functionality and you are good to go. It doesn't do anything to your gmail acct or your phone. It just sits in Outlook and syncs it to your gmail account.
