Ad detection and removal

My wife's Moto Z Play has an ad from infinity ads that will pop up whenever her phone comes out of sleep mode. It's only on her splash screen. I thought I had found the app that was causing the pop up and I removed it. It was a Flash Super hero game. I deleted it and all games I thought would still cause the infinity ads to run. But now the games are gone and she has been getting the pop ups again. What is a good app to detect and remove ads?

I have never found an app that will find those types of ads and tell you which app is causing them

When it comes up, press and hold the notification to see which app it's coming from. When you do this, it will tell you which app it is AND you can turn off its notifications right there.

Otherwise, you'll have to go through any possibly offending apps (in app settings) and turn off background data/allow drawing over other apps.
