Does anyone know if the lollipop update for the note 4 has adaptive brightness?
I was reading through the moto x forums and it says the lollipop updates switched the auto brightness setting to adaptive brightness.
I hope they do the same on the note because I like my display dark since it's easier on the eyes.
Any insight is greatly appreciated.
Oh here's the link to the thread in the moto x forums...

If anything it brigthens much faster when going out into bright sunlight. I have no issues indoors. Stays useable. So I'd say it is working. I did a factory reset after the update

What carrier are you using? My sprint Note 4 on lollipop doesn't have this.

Vodacom in South Africa.... But they went out the "window" when I flashed the DBT German Lollipop version

Your Sprint Note 4 does have this.
It was there even before the lollipop update.

Galaxy Note 4

Galaxy S III
LG G2
If it ain't Tech, it ain't Right.

The att lollipop doesn't have it either. I'm disappointed because the adaptive brightness is usually too bright.

Try the app Lux in the Play store...works very well for auto brightness. There is a free "Lite" version to try too.

There is a little "A" by the gear looking thing. Not sure why. It wasn't there before the update.
