First of all I have USB debugging on under developer options. And I have fastboot unchecked under power. Although I tried both the opposite. I have the connection type as ?charge only? although I have tried all of them.

I have tried the HTC drivers by installing them numerous times. The device manager would not display Android phone using them. It shows Android USB Devices and underneath that My HTC when connected in fastboot mode. The USBDeview program shows that it is using HTC driver version 2.0.7.14.

By adding this line to the android_winusb.inf file under this section:
[Google.NTamd64]

;HTC Incredible S
%SingleAdbInterface% = USB_Install, USB\VID_0BB4&PID_0FF0
%CompositeAdbInterface% = USB_Install, USB\VID_0BB4&PID_0FF0&REV_0100

I am now able to display Android phone and underneath that Android ADB interface now. I could also choose Android Composite ADB Interface.

Have used USBDeview to uninstall device and reinstall drivers. Now USBDeview shows that I am connected with Android ADB Interface using Google driver version 7.0.0.1

I have uninstalled JDK and reinstalled it installing the 32 bit version first and then the 64 bit version and then reinstalling the ADB using adb manager.

I installed HTC Sync. Then uninstalled it.

I am using the back USB ports on my computer using an HTC cable but not the one that came with the phone.

When I start the ADB interface the process ADB.exe *32 starts. When I close my command prompt I usually end the process as it does not end by itself.

When I am in fastboot mode and to this command:
fastboot flash unlocktoken Unlock_code.bin the result is:
sending ?unlocktoken' (0 KB) ...
Thats all I get.

Please help me solve this!
