Hi guys

I have been using PDAnet and EasyTether to tether my phone to my laptop successfully. One day it stopped working. In device manager there is a Yellow question mark in Other Devices that says ADB. I tried to update the driver but it can't find an update. Anyone know the problem? I think the computer won't recognize the phone unless its on Disk Drive mode. HTC Sync doesn't work either.

ADB is part of the Android SDK. Maybe it is somehow conflicting with PDAnet. I would uninstall the SDK and the corresponding driver, and see if that helps.

In addition to what Cory suggests --

If you're using HTC Sync to supply drivers:

What I would do --

Uninstall HTC Sync (if installed)
Uninstall PDA net
restart computer
Reinstall HTC Sync
Reinstall PDA net

Where do I find the Android sdk? Is it something that must be installed? My phone is not rooted by the way.

I will try this thanks.
