Question AdChoice ads now being allowed in the nytimes app. Does someone know how to get rid of them on a Note 8? nytimes was not helpful.

The New York Times app is now allowing those obnoxious
AdChoice ads on their app.

I went into the ad data base company and opted out of all of them but they're back

does anyone know how to get rid of these ads, personalized or not personalized.

Are you a New York Times subscriber? Have you asked them if being a paid subscriber removes ads?

I dealt with customer service at lenght. the Times has decided to use these ads. I am a paying subscriber. They told me to contact google or Samsung or an android forum to see if there is a way to turn them off.

Is there? I have a note 8 and i have friends with androids that I think are not seeing these ads.

The times tried to blame it on third party tracking but i have not turned on to not allow tracking.

So to answer you question this infliction of ads on everyone is intentional. Do you know how i can get rid of them in android settings?

And they did say it was a new thing. They were supposed to end them at the end of March and decided not to.

I hope you can help me.
