Add a contact from messages on s9

[Android Central Question]

When I receive a new text from a person that is not on my contact list, there isn't anyway to easily create a new contact. opening the message and pressing the menu does not offer to 'add new contact' or 'create new contact'. Neither option is available when highlighting the message on the default message screen. It just give 'Add contact' and then i have to select a person from my contact list. I cannot add a new contact.

That's odd. I have a huge add to contacts button.
