Add Sound For Email Notification

Hi Guys,

New to your forum. I know how to put a wav or MP3 file on the DROID 2, but does anyone know if there is a way to then, make that file an email notification. For example, I have a sound that says "you have new mail" and would like to have it play when I get an (POP3) email.

Try dropping it in sdcard/media/audio/notifications/...?

Well I dont' have that path. After SDCard I have:
Albums
Amazonmp3
Android
andsync
clusb
dcim
download
kindle
logs
LOST.DIR
msntalk
Playlists
Ringdroid1 (this is where I put a sound file (mp3), but couldn't access it from notifications)
svox
Yahoo

I would have thought I could just look for the other sounds and added to them there, but I can't find them.

i dont use email.apk but if its like gmail.apk then you open the app and select the ringtone from its location by using android system, zedge, astro,...
