Adding a folder

Can I change the name of a folder? The only options I see are new folder, all people, bluetooth received, facebook phonebook, phones, & starred.

You didn't go far enough yet. Add the "New Folder," if that's the one you want. Once it's on your home page, tap it to open it up. Then long press on the name at the top. That'll open a box where you can change the name.

Thanks for the reply - works perfectly. I didn't think about doing a long press on the header.

It's a good tip if you're new to Android - always think of a long press! It's usually the way the operating system uses to give you options.
