Adding a new field to the default create contact

Is there a way to add another field to the default setup of creating a contact?

I want to have birthday and notes automatically there when I create a contact.

Any help would be great.

We will need more info. What phone/Android version do you? All manufacturers tweak the apps a little.

As far as I know I don't think it's an option but their may be a 3rd party app that will do just that.
