Adding contacts from phone!

When I do this from the phone, why doesnt it add it to my gmail contacts as well??? Am I doing something wrong here? It doesnt make sense having to remember everyone u add on your device so you can in turn add it to your google contacts later. Very redundant. I must me doing something wrong here...

When you add a new contact Sense defaults to the phone. When adding a new contact you need to select Google, that way it does not add it as a phone contact.

And anyone that you've added so far can be changed over by going into each editing the contacband changing it from a phone contact to a Google contact.
