I just recently migrated from a Palm Treo to the Evo and have been enjoying Android quite a bit post migration.
I am experiencing a small issue though and am looking for a bit of advice. In Palm's old OS, it was possible to append pauses and small text notes along with a phone number. For example, a phone number entry could look like this:
925-555-1212x5655 (support)
With the above number, the "x" denoted a pause to where you could initiate the dialed digit string after the "x" on demand. This was used to quickly dial into conferencing servers.
The "(support)" was a simple note to tell me something about the number. I often had two or three work numbers where I needed to denote (support), (sales), (mgmt).
Does Android support any/all of this? I seem to be having issues with certain numbers that would tell me know but would like to hear your experiences.
