Is there a way does anyone know if this is going to be implemented, im noticing that the brightness is quite high and it doesn't change with choosing a low brightness, added to that i have also noticed burn in which eventually fades away which is really worrying considering its only a day old.
I have also noticed that anything white turns to a slightly yellow tint when it goes in to always on mode

If your brightness doesn't change when you turn it down there must be something wrong. Mine has quite a bit of range between low and high. Maybe a restart or reset will fix it.

The brightness does change between one and six and it's noticeable, but only when using the watch. When the always on screen shows, the brightness seems to be ignored and if your on a brightness of one or a few up from that, the always on brightness us always brighter and doesn't change with your choice of brightness

It's this only affecting the watch face and if so are you using a custom one? Some custom watch faces I've tried actually get brighter when in dim mode. Especially ones from Facer.

It's one of the standard faces, although I have used custom faces but got rid of them so maybe it's left behind from those, I'll reset and try again, see what happens

So resetting the watch and resetting Google wear app didn't change anything, I'm guessing it just is brighter by default without the option to change always on brightness, I just remember thinking that it wasn't so bright when i first used it

And, just to be clear, there is NO way to leave the full watchface "on" the entire time? I realize it would be a battery drain, and there are issues of burn in.

This is one of my gripes as well. The watch face hands are too bright for my liking when in standby mode. Especially at night.
I would like to be able to adjust the ambient screen if possible.

I had to customize my own faces to get the dimming mode to look right. Used Facer.
