I've been getting an ad on bottom of home screen for a few days now and can't seem to get it to go away. I've downloaded a bunch of apps that ppl said would make it go away but never did. I was going to run an app to see what it was when it popped up but took the screen shot first and then it went away so any help would be nice thx

This has happened to my daughter's S7 and other people have complained here. You installed an app that has permission to place ads on your lock screen. You're going to have go through your apps and see which app or apps have those permissions.

Trying a bunch? Names.
Uni stall apps
Wipe ca he partition
Boot in mode
Security apps work if they are pre installed
Games, themes, wallpapers, photo editing apps, even camera apps
Adguard.com
Use Samsung Internet w/ ad block extensions

Yeah I just don't know what app

There in lies the problem. Trying to figure out WHICH app is causing it is going to be a pain. When did this start happening? What apps did you install a few days ago right before you started getting the pop ups?

Nit going to play by the rules.
Isn't about permissions.
May hide itself or in a ".nomedia" folder
An app contacted an ad server, a command server. Ad servers get compromised. SQL injection is it was common.

Sucks lol I remember awhile back I had and issue and found by looking at files and it was a blank spot in apps

Then it may be one of the apps you installed using Aptoid. It also could be an app from the Play Store too. Like I said, trying to find the app (or apps) is going to be problematic.
