Advanced Calling Video Issue

I have the latest update for Advanced calling. I have a friend with an iPhone 6 who also has advanced calling enabled, and when we talk, the call quality is MUCH better. However, I can't do a video call with him. Every time we are on a call and I press the video button on the dialer screen, it says that he can't accept video calls.

I checked his phone, and it is set up for video with advanced calling. I called Verizon, and they were no help. Any suggestions, besides telling my friend to get an Android?

iPhones DO NOT DO video calling with advanced calling...only iPhone to iPhone with iMessage.

+1 iPhone to non-iPhone can use HD audio, but Apple has decided that only their iMessage (which is iOS only) will be supported on iPhones for video calling.
