So, here's a newbie question for ya:
What's the advantage of moving an app to the SD card?
Does it increase your available RAM and/or CPU% available?
My question stems from the fact that I just got a D2 when my D1 headphone jack was a little messed up. (For free too! Thanks Verizon) Anyways, I am all too familiar with the horrible battery life and I was hoping the D2 would be better, but alas, not so much. So, in my quest to get better battery life and faster processing, I'm thinking maybe I have too many apps? All I'm really running is facebook and the news and weather app, and I still only have around 50 MB of CPU available. I turn off GPS when unnecessary and have email sync set up on a fetch schedule.
I just realized my question has evolved here, but what should I do?
Thanks!
