ADW launcher

I have been using ADW launcher on my droid X for few hours, but i can't seem to get my notification bar to display all the time and also the quick contacts widget wont let me add text or email. Has anyone used this app yet or have any tips for me since there are a lot settings.

After a couple hours comparing the different launchers i settled on ADW. I see alot of potential in the skins and i love all the options available. Esp the "Auto Stretch" which allows a 5x6 grid of icons (esp. on a big 4.3" screen) to be feasible. ADW basically gives you 50% more space on screen than any other launcher i tried. However, i would like to see more options with the home dock.

Unfortunately, i too couldn't get the Quick Contacts widget to work with any of the alternative launchers, they all distorted the picture terribly and were pretty unusable. Too bad, i liked it. The Slideshow widget has also glitched in ADW, but recreating it fixed it and no problems since.

As for the notification bar, that was the first thing i set to hide. I can't believe that in the almost 2 years since android has been out it's not the slightest bit graphically customizable.

I think you want to check your Swipe up action/Swipe down action in System Preferences for ADW settings. I turned both off (None) because that bugged the crap out of me...everytime I swiped down it would disappear.
