after downgrading nagging upgrade

I downgraded from 5 to 4.4.4 but now google keep on pressing to upgrade back tot 5. How can I stop that anouncement

Go to the google now app in settings and uncheck show notifications.

I think that will kill all notification. I am looking for an upgrade / system notification only
