After entering passcode, screen goes black. (A51 5g)

(see title) and after that happens, I can see the screen again by either tapping the screen or pressing the physical button on the right below the volume keys. It always go back to login screen. Rinse and repeat.

It's a Samsung... kinda like a box of chocolates, you never know exactly what you're gonna get. I got a lot of factory resets lol.

I don't have biometric. Only standard numbers. Nothing extra. I was able to get the phone restarted by continuously typing in my code over and over again. When it reloaded i got the background with android 3d bubbles or whatever. I popup displayed stating that there is a serious software problem and asked if i wanted to check for updates. I said yes and been stuck on "phone is starting" notice for a while now.

Another thing i see is that I'm unable to connect to any of my home WIFI with internet. I've reset the router/modem, and forgot the WIFI on the phone and re entered the passcode for the WIFI. All other devices we use work fine.

If you have a case that has any magnets in it, try taking the case off. Magnets in the wrong place might trigger the phone's smartcover sensor, making it think you're closing the smartcover of a case (which would turn the screen off).
