After fretting so publicly here over rooting

My new Nexus 6, I took the plunge, unlocking the bootloader, rooting it, all via the Nexus Root Kit. I'm not totally ignorant of how to do these things manually, but it was helpful to me, at least, to have it automated.

Now I've flashed TWRP, and installed Cyanogenmod 12.1, and love it. In some ways, it isn't so different - I came from stock, after all, but I do appreciate having the little extras that CM provides.

Congrats.
I too am running CM12.1 on mine.
Check the Play Store for themes and fonts.

Once you try custom roms and the goodies they bring, it's hard to go back to stock.

One thing I've noticed is that the bootloader didn't change after flashing CM. It still plays the AT&T screen followed by the long Android swirling animation. I would kind of like to have the CM logo up there, but it doesn't load.

Depends on the rom. Some use the stock/carrier splash screen while others use their own.

where do you find cm 12.1? I did the root in order to get the double-touch on and the led's, the later of which I will never understand are not a normal option, but really would like to take a look at cm 12.1 versus stock.

Pretty easy to find. I downloaded the latest nightly build for the Nexus 6 from the Cyanogenmod website and then flashed it in TWRP.

OK. So will titanium backup restore even pictures or info that was put into a locker app? I just don't want to have to put it all in again
