after gb, icons in my folders don't have the pic jsut a generic symbol..

i read a couple of other threads about this, but they were for different phones. i have a stock evo with gingerbread and the maintenance update. after i restart the phone the items in my folders revert to a default icon. this happens to both apps that are on the phone as well as apps stored on the sd card. is this a known issue and is their a fix. i haven't tried deleting the folder and making a new one b/c i'm lazy and didn't really think it would help.
thanks for any help you can give.
also i am not using any aftter market launchers such as launcherpro and i don't use app2sd card or whatever that app is called.

It has always seemed to fix itself (with a bit of time) for me when that happens.

This is a known issue with gingerbread update. It's been discussed many times in the 753 some odd replies in the gingerbread bugs thread (dont blame you for not wanting too sift through that) mine does the same thing when I shut down and turn back on my phone. Best fix someone had me do was to choose another scene for sense let it load and then switch back to your custom scene. The apps in folders will load properly with the correct icons
