After getting wet my touchscreen not working

[Android Central Question]

Samsung Galaxy A50. I have dried the phone for some days. It was working straight after getting wet then stopped. Still receiving calls etc but I cannot access anything via the touchscreen?
. I have removed the glass screensaver.

Welcome to Android Central! How wet did the phone get? Was it just a splash, or did it get dunked completely into water?

The A50 has no IP rating at all, and therefore is not considered water resistant. It's likely that water got into the phone and caused this problem. You'd have to bring it to a repair shop, but be aware that the water might have also damaged other components.
