After I did a software update on my Galaxy S3 the internet dosen't work anymore, how can I fix it?

after I did a software update on my galaxy S3.theinternet dosent work anymore

I did a software update last week,now the phone is disconnected from the internet all the time.I can connect temporarily by opening the phone app and calling someones phone,after it rings a couple of times the ineternet gets connected.

Welcome to Android Central! What was the update? It's a bit odd that a phone as old as the S3 would still be getting system updates. Which carrier do you have?

Is it only mobile data that isn't connecting? What about wi-fi?
