After I my rooted HTC One, why won't it unlock with my password anymore?

My rooted HTC One won't unlock with my password anymore.

My HTC One M7 won't unlock anymore out of the blue. I'm using the stock unlock screen. I was using it not 5 minutes before this happened. I have ViperOne Rom installed. Anything I can do without losing data?

Keep trying, and it should eventually ask for your Google account login and password. That will unlock it. Then change the lock screen to none, restart, change the lockscreen to password and enter your password again.

If you don't get a request for your Google identification, How To Unlock Android Phone If You Forget the Password Or Pattern Lock has a few different methods of getting into a locked phone. (The factory reset method will delete all of your data, so it's a last resort.)
