Read previous threads but found nothing relevant to my situation.
I have just followed the instructions here to the tee, installed CM7 and gapps on the sd card, and upon initial start up, am faced with the looping CM7 logo with the blue android man.
Please help me fix this!!

My nook color has 1.3 firmware, and I am using a 4 class 4gb SanDisk MicroSD card.

The good thing about the SD install, you can try again. I fiddled with it off and on for about 4 hours, with tons of tries before it finally took. Take the SD card out, reboot fresh, then start again on the SD card. It took me several attempts with several methods before it finally (somehow) worked out.

It was looping (every 10 seconds) for over 30 minutes...
Also, the "ANDROID" text didn't appear on the left hand side of the screen, as I had read from other threads that it would.

I guess I could format and try again??

Ok please help. I've been trying to do this all day on my new NC. I've done everything im supposed to do to the SD card. Went through the initial boot. Now when I turn Nook back on I get stuck on the part where im supposed to choose "Setup Wizard". Im stuck because it won't let me choose either option. I can use the vol keys on the side of Nook but the touch screen will not respond.

We are having a similar problem, although the card WAS working. It just stopped and now it hangs on the boot screen.
