After latest update, can't find wifi connections anymore

Just updated my Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 2014 Edition with the latest update that was posted this week (Android 4.4.2), but right after the reboot, couldn't find any wifi signals anymore despite my home wifi still being on and other gadgets still connected to the wifi. It just keeps searching and can't find it. Tried my pocket wifi, another wifi source and still nothing. Help!

Not really a solution if it persists after this...

Turn off wifi
Turn on Airplane mode
Turn on wifi

See if it can detect wireless.

Turn off Airplane mode

Latest Android for 2014 edition is not 4.4.2, it is 5.1.1....
