After Lollipop update, lock screen is no longer customizable?

Has anyone been able to customize their lock screen after the Lollipop update for Moto X 2013?

Do you mean adding widgets? That's practically gone after Lollipop. Sorry.

Yeah, that's a big surprise to me. After reading countless articles over the last year about Lollipop, I don't remember ever hearing that they axed that ability. It's not a huge deal though as I am certainly liking the new notifications, but options would still be nice.
