After Update, Bluetooth watch repairs 2 times a day

After getting the latest patch update on my moto z it seems like my moto 360 v2 unparis 2 to 3 times a day and the phone requests to repair. Is this with the phone or the watch? Anyone else with issues?

That happens to me and my wife quite often after our watches updated to Android Wear 2.0. there is a fairly long discussion on the Moto forum about Moto 360 V2 watches disconnecting and forcing the re-pair.
