After upgrading my Android, why does my phone turn on and off automatically?

Upgrading Android

After Wipe Cache Partition in my Samsung Galaxy Grand i9802. My Phone switched off & restarted automatically with deleting all saved data.

Welcome to Android Central! Did you install a system update? If so, was it an official update over-the-air, or did you install it manually?

Wiping the system cache partition should never delete personal data. Are you absolutely sure you selected wipe cache, and not wipe data/factory reset?
