AC Question

After upgrading my Nexus 7, I cant access my emails.

When I click onto the Email Icon, it used to immediately come up with my ntlworld emails. Now it says "Your email has been moved. The Gmail app now lets you view all your email accounts"
But it doesn't. It just says " Getting your messages" on the main page, and " waiting to sync" when I click onto my ntlworld email address.
Help please...

Welcome to Android Central! Are you saying that the ntlworld account shows up already in the Gmail app? Can you try removing the account, then adding it back again?

Re: After upgrading my Nexus 7, I cant access my emails.

As you figured out the old email app has been depreciated in Android Lollipop, replaced by the Gmail app.

B. Diddy's suggestion to remove/replace the account in Gmail is a good one, but don't forget to clear the Gmail app cache before adding the account back.

Settings > Apps > Gmail > Clear cache

Android since v1.0. Linux user since 2001.
