Again, Like Most .. Got a Rooted Phone and stumbled in!!!

Hi Folks,

As most of the folks out there.. searching for ways to bring some resolution to a bricked phone.. I stumbled on to this site..

Just to introduce.. I am a software engineer from India and own a galaxy S.. Tried upgrading it to ICS and almost made it (cyanogenmod) .. However, installed the wrong version of Google Play.. Got Server Error and tried to go back .. Ended in disaster! LOL.. Let me see if and when I can fix it.. Till then.. On a musuem mobile!

Welcome to AC. Hopefully you can get your problems resolved. Sounds like a worst case situation if you can't resolve the Google Play issue then you will have to do a Restore to Stock using Odin and the proper tar files.
