AIM Wont work with Wi-Fi?

Anyone else having the same issue as I am with being on a Wi-Fi signal but the default AIM application is telling me to please disconnect from the Wi-Fi in order to connect?

I had the same thing. Probably so ATT can charge you for overages when you accidentally leave your AIM open for a month. (happened to me years ago)

Skype on Vzw isn't allowed on wifi. Supposedly it is so they can charge you for more bandwidth once they drop unlimited. Ironically att forces iphonees to only use Facetime on wifi so it wont kill the network. All sleazy moves. Perhaps this is the same? Or its poorly programmed.
