airplane mode

is there a bug where putting phone on airplane mode prevents twitter and sometimes facebook from updating again once the airplane mode is turned off? i used it for the first time yesterday and ever since all my twitter feeds have not updated and some facebook updates didn't show up either. i thought the site was down or something but all the updates show up on the web. tried refresh plenty of times but missing updates still didn't show up. what i ended up doing is signing on and off on the twitter client and then things showed up again.

When you put the phone in airplane mode, did you check to see if WiFi was still on? Airplane Mode will turn WiFi off, so that maybe why you weren't getting updates.

Sounds like it may just be a bug between the apps you use and the OS.
