AirPod pros not automatically reconnecting

So I've had this issue for a few days now. I've ever had pros connected to my laptop my iPad mini at home, and my pixel 5. When I started using them with my Pixel 5 up until last week, I would put the AirPods back in the charging case and Bluetooth on my phone would shut off course. Then when I would flip the charger case open they would auto reconnect with my phone, and my assistant trigger app would auto activate. Now, they're not reconnecting automatically to my phone. I've tried to delete them from my phone and repair them a few times to no avail. I'm not sure what's going on...

Have you tried to,,,press and hold the setup button on the back of case for up to 10 seconds. The status light should flash white, which means that your AirPods are ready to connect.

Well yes of course....... Lol. I've repaired them with my Pixel 5 numerous times ready. They used to auto connect when I took my AirPods right out of the charger case. Not quite sure why they're not now. I mean once I manually connect them to the Bluetooth settings they were fine, but they won't auto connect for some reason. Just really weird.
