So, basically my life found a lost pair of AirPod pros at the summer sleeping she works at and brought them home for me to test out and try out. I went to the gym this morning with the AirPod pros and they fit pretty well they sound pretty decent. I finally understand why people would need a active noise cancellation. Although, I don't. Google Assistant with the assistant trigger app in the Play store works pretty well, but I don't think they're better than the pixel but twos. I just figured I'd mention this quickly to everyone as a quick comparison review. I realize that on Android versus iOS you don't have all the software features that you would have, but even for basic features they're not bad, but I don't believe they beat out the pixel bud twos either.

I find my Samsung buds to be the best for my usage and quality is good ..I don’t have Air Pods Pro just the regular ones and the best thing they bring to the table is the integration with iOS …they switch from my Mac to phone seamlessly..otherwise I take my Sammy buds which are paired with my Android phone …I listen to plenty of music with them and I have lots of calls no issues ..

Yeah, I hear you. I don't take very many calls on my pixel buds at all. I don't need active noise cancellation at all. I can see why people would like this, but it's not worth the money to make. Pics of us have enough battery life for me and the charging cases that much smaller and more pocketable. And Google assistant works better on them as well!

I don’t have noise canceling on mine but they do shield a little noise out which is good …one day maybe down the road will try a Google bud …maybe when that 6 drops haha

Yeah I will say that my pixel buds do shield away a decent amount of ambient noise pretty damn well now that I think about it. I've never had to complain about that before.

I specifically DO NOT WANT noise cancelling. I need to be able to hear what's going on around me when I'm using them. I guess if I was a music purist or fanatic I'd feel differently. I use them mostly for phone calls and a bit of casual music listening, but its usually in a work environment. I have to be able to hear those cries for help and those oncoming tugger carts full of packages. Those crazy newbies will run a fella down if he's not on his game.
