Alarm after skipping a day

I found a pretty serious bug in lollipop. If you have Friday July 3rd off, and instead of telling your alarm to skip a day, you completely turn it off, it doesn't automatically turn back on and you end up late for work on Monday
Ok, so maybe that's a "me" bug and not a lollipop bug , but when we'll these things do what i think they should do instead of what i tell them to do?

To clarify, you turned off the alarm completely and not just that one day? I want to make sure so I don't make a mistake assuming that's it.
