Alarm Clock for Me app won't go away!

[Android Central Question]

I tried using it the other day and now can't get rid of it. Alarm keeps going off every day even tho I deleted the event in the app. The next day after it went off again I uninstalled the app. It still went off today and it is NOT in my apps list but I still have the alarm icon at the top of my screen! I also tried rebooting my phone. How do I get rid of this thing??? Thanks. Galaxy 7 with latest updates.

The alarm setting is now probably in Crontabs, which is part of Linux (the operating system that Android runs in). At a guess, reinstall the app, then turn the alarm off. If that still doesn't do it, email the developer. (I tried looking it up for you, but there are so many apps that match your description - me app, alarm me. me alarm, etc. - that I can't find the one you're talking about. But the email affress should be at the bottom of the listing in Play.)

If the above isn't it, check your phones pre-installed calendar, I have 2 pre-installed, Google and Samsung, which may have synced with the one you downloaded.
