Alarm clock options while keeping voice command

I don't really have many gripes with the stock alarm clock. It works quite well and, despite missing some features, is all I need.

However, I HATE the widget. Actually, just the fact that it has a black background and zero transparency = ugly. If I could fix that I'd probably be fine keeping it.

One feature I really like is the voice command. Say STOP or SNOOZE. I've been enjoying not having to open my eyes and press a button in the morning. I installed Alarm Clock Plus and tested it out and that functionality is lost with that app.

Does anyone have any thoughts/suggestions? Thanks
