I use my phone as an alarm clock for work. I've had it for over a week. It seems that snooze works when it wants to. All of my snooze stuff is set but when I hit the snooze button sometimes the alarms goes back off and sometimes it doesn't. It has a mind of its own. I do hit the snooze button which is the ZZs. I'm also using the regular snooze not the smart snooze. Is there a better alarm I can download?

I've used the alarm since I've had the phone from June25 , and it works great for me

I'm hoping I don't have the same issue. I've grown to rely on my device to be my alarm as well.
Truthfully, I've been a blackberry user for years but will be getting a Gs3 Aug 1. I'm just trying to iron out a few things to make the transition as smooth as possible.
Off topic: I'm looking for a bedside mode app that turns off everything except the alarm clock. Anyone have any ideas?

I've been testing different things lately. If I use the volume up button then snooze works fine. If I use the volume down or power button then it doesn't snooze. When I use the one screen ZZ button its hit and miss.

I downloaded the double twist alarm and it has been great. I hated the regular smart alarm because it always went off a couple of minutes early which was kind of annoying. Never had an issue with it.

Check out an app called Bedside.

In the stock alarm options is one called Smart Alarm. It turns the alarm on 3 minutes early at very low, ascending volume. If you disable that it won't go off early.

My alarm always goes off 3 minutes prior to the time it is actually set for. Go figure.

OOOOPS, just read the post about smart alarm, I will check into this.

Thanks, I found that info out shortly after downloading the double twist alarm, but really am digging the double twist one.

alarm clock plus. Best alarm clock app I've ever used.

Used the stock one this morning. Like Smart Alarm which is better than the Red Alert on my wife's i4.

I'm pretty happy with alarm clock plus. I lost the voice command "stop/snooze" with the stock alarm...but I like how it has auto snooze. Alarm plays for 15 seconds, which easily wakes me up, then snoozes itself so I don't have to immediately deal with it when I wake up.

Is double twist alarm clock draining your batteries?

Interested to here other peoples opinions on this. I lost 30% of my battery last night while in standby, which in turn shut my phone off causing me to miss my alarm completely.

Leave your charger connected to your phone overnight.

That's one answer, but I shouldn't have to at 35%. I could see it if it was 20% or less but my phone shouldn't drain 35% while I'm sleeping not even using the phone.
