Alarm Problem...

I don't know what caused this but my alarm clock has suddenly gone silent. For the past couple days when the time comes for the alarm to start up the phone displays the 'hey! you're alarm is going off!' screen but there is no sound. And before you suggest it, no, my phone is not on silent or vibrate mode. Has anyone else had this problem? How do I fix it? Is there an independant volume control for the alarm that I simply can't find?

I also posted this in the 'help' forum, as I am unsure if it's a problem with my phone or a problem with Android itself.

I've had the same issue ever since I updated to the latest software version. Weird..

When you go in your alarm settings hit the side volume keys to turn it up. I had to do the same thing.

Alrighty.... I have to recant my post. All of the sudden the other day, my alarm started working again. I suspect it was after a reboot.
