Since getting this phone about a month ago, I've had several instances where an alarm goes off at the proper time, but if I reach for it, I must touch something before getting to the DISMISS button.
When this happens, and the phone is locked, I can't silence the alarm even by logging in (password) - getting to the home screen and trying to see if the alarm is "active" (Droid shows no active programs) or going into the clock and unchecking any alarms that have been set.
I end up doing one of two things:
1) allow the alarm to time out and shutoff (no one around me appreciates this option) or
2) powering down, restarting the phone. Not too much fun either, especially if it's an alarm to get me up for work in the morning - and maybe I'm running late.
