First of all, yes, I have done a search on this already.

Anyway, for the past 3 days in a row, my alarm has failed to go off. 1 of those days, it wasn't plugged in, 2 of those days it was. I double and TRIPLE checked to make sure the alarm was on, little icon in the taskbar showed up, etc. Lo and behold, when 6 a.m. rolls around, NOTHING. Absolutely nothing. I don't notice until I wake up 2 hours later, and it's too late.

Before anybody says anything, I DO NOT HAVE ANY TASK KILLER OF ANY SORT WHATSOEVER ON MY PHONE AT ALL!!!

With that out of the way, I have changed LITERALLY NOTHING on my phone, settings or app-wise between this occurring and it working fine. It used to occasionally happen once every so often, but never consistently like this. The only thing I have changed in the past few days is that I have more or less flipped my 3G Data permanently off (except for when I need to quickly look something up on the web or something like that) as I've found it dramatically increases my battery life and I never use data anyway. Is this a potential cause?

Yes, I have checked my volume is up. I triple check this before I sleep every night. No, I have no task killer.

I tested it this morning (after it failed to go off again and after I'd woken up) by setting it 10 minutes ahead. And it worked fine. I'm totally lost and extremely frustrated as it only seems to happen when I actually need it to work. Anybody have any idea what's happening???

One other obvious thing to check... Only valid if you used a different alarm to test the sound.

This is based on something that happened to me.

Open the alarm that is not sounding and see what the ringtone is set to... Ironically one option for the alarm is Silent... If this is the case, select another one.

What alarm program are you using? Never had this problem, but I use AlarmDroid. If the above suggestion doesn't work, try reinstalling the app you use. Also, not sure if this could be related, but the Replenish has all sorts of notification issues if you're low on memory; maybe something similar happens to alarms that happens to emails and texts?
