Alarms to Smart Watches

Google clock alarms can be shut off from Wear OS devices but Samsung Galaxy watches ignore them. Samsung Clock alarms show up on Galaxy Wear and can be shut off but do not show up in Wear OS devices!

Is there an alarm clock app that shows up and can be shut off on both Wear OS and Galaxy Wear smart watches?

Yes I have one of each and like to rotate but I like to shut off alarms from watch instead of digging out the phone.

Yes of course! On the Samsung watch you receive a notification similar to a text message telling you the google alarm is on but no option to shut it off.

In the Wear OS watch all notifications are on but when Samsung Clock alarm goes off it registers nothing at all. It doesn't detect it.

Google clock works fine on Wear OS and Samsung Clock works fine on Galaxy watches.


Many apps give a notification but but no option to shut off the alarm ringing on the phone.

I just tried it with my note 10+ and gear s2 classic - worked like a charm. if notification is turned on in your galaxy wearable app, it should work. maybe try clearing the system cache. also try deleting the clock and wearable app cache. restart the watch.

What you for me too BUT the 10 clock alarm does NOT work with Android Wear watch like Asus or others and the google clock app (does not come on phone must download from app store) works perfect on Android Wear watch but NOT the Samsung watch. I use 2 different watches and rotate them.

I'm looking for one alarm app that works equally well with BOTH types of smartwatch os both tizen and Androidwear now call Wear OS.

that is NOT what you wrote. the way I read it your samsung was not working and you wanted it to work like the android wear. next time be a little clearer. what you are now saying may not work without a third party alarm app that would work on the two different operating systems.

I use Google Clock now for Wear OS and Samsung Clock for its watches. Google clock is available for free in Play Store.
