Album art over bluetooth

Can someone explain why album art doesn't show over Bluetooth on this phone? When I streamed over Bluetooth on my iPhone, album art from iTunes and album art from spotify or pandora would show in my car. This phone does not do this. Why?

If the songs are just saved to the SD card, u will have to add the album art to the songs. At first mine did not show the art, but I downloaded an app that searched the web for the art and added them to the songs. Now Bluetooth shows the art.

It also depends on the player. The cover data needs to be pushed by the player, not all players assume the connected device knows what to do with album cover images.

OK well specifically spotify. Spotify on my iPhone shows album art over Bluetooth. It just shows a blank image on this galaxy s8 over Bluetooth. Why? There is no way to change any settings from what I can tell.

Ask spotify? The iOS and Android versions are literally 2 different pieces of software.

Idk if it's iPhone, but I've had android forever and never had album art show over Bluetooth
