Alcatel CS experience

I have never seen a more incompetent company in my life. They processed my card now they have no clue if/when it will ship. They keep saying a supervisor will call as I am trying to cancel as my order is on permanent on hold even though the billing info is right as they successfully ran the card, but no one calls back. I talked to one of the CS agents today, and they said a supervisor will now contact me Monday (BS). Wow, what a mess. No one calls back.

I wonder if it is because the site had the Idol 3 for $140 for literally minutes and it was a mistake possibly, and they don't want to ship or admit it, bad all the way around.
 
If it becomes egregious, you could always call your credit card about stopping the payment.
 
They should honor it. Mistake or no mistake. Are you trying to get the phone at that price of canceling the order?
 
I called one more time last night. They stated it "should" ship, but there is the slight possibility it won't, and the charge will be reversed, they will email me soon---yea sure.
I would like the phone is what I said to them, but I am beginning not to care. If this falls through I will probably buy a Zenfone2 or something anything but an Alcatel.

My credit card statement will be produced soon, if I don't have it and no one will say anything, I will dispute the change, I am not going to pay for something I don't have, no one has any clue over there, that's pretty bad.

I had a feeling Alcatel would have minimal to nonexistant customer service. I figured for the price I paid I was on my own. Luckily no problems yet on my wifes phone, but my phone has a malfunctioning power button. I just installed an app so I could double tap to open and close the phone.

Good Luck getting your money back, I would be thoroughly surprised if they ship the phone.

Looks like you were right. I just logged into my Alcatel account, now it says I have placed no orders. I will never deal with these guys again.
 
The $70 or so you were saving was probably 500 phones' worth of profit, they're probably on the tight margin....not worth it for them, sometimes a customer just ain't worth trying to make happy. Wonder if that's what C**cast thinks...
 
Well, I came home today, and I got a package in the mail, it was the Idol 3. It is surprising I got no email stating it had shipped. I am glad that they did end up sending it to me for the $140 I paid for it, and it was sealed new.
I am charging it now, hopefully I won't have to deal with their support, but for the price I paid, it was a good deal.

Cricket has the Idol 3 (5.5) for 150$. They will honor the warranty for a full year. No matter what Alcatel does
