Please help me with this as wifi and edge is working well. And one more thing it shows either and E or a R on top of the signal bars what should I expect for 3g?

Alcatel Onetouch Flash is not connecting to 3g

Compare the bands that the OneTouch Flash uses, and see if the UMTS bands match your carrier's 3G bands: http://www.fonearena.com/alcatel-one-touch-flash_6012.html. If they're not compatible, then you might be limited to EDGE.
