All files not showing up on phones Download app

I downloaded some PDF files on my Turbo as well as copied some from my PC to the Download folder but when I checked the Download app on the phone only 1 file showed up however when I checked the Download folder using ES File Explorer, all the files are there.

Anyone else experiencing this issue?

On my Droid Maxx, yes. That's the first I've opened the "Download" app in a long time. It seems to have only two files that I've downloaded since I last factory data reset the phone (so, it's ignoring the files I copied over after the FDR.) Since I also have ES File Explorer I don't really see much need for the Download app really.
