All text messages not transferring to New Samsung Galaxy S21 from S8

[Android Central Question]

Hi- I used Samsung Switch to transfer all data from my previous Galaxy S8, to the S21, but the text messages after Dec 15th didn’t show up on the new phone. There’s about 2 weeks worth of texts I’d like to keep for now.
I tried doing the transfer again with the last 30 days of texts only, with no change.
Should I try using the Windows 10 laptop to exchange them instead? If so, just download Samsung Switch onto the laptop?

Yes try Smart switch on your pc , back up your s8 to it then restore your s21 , you can select only messages to transfer.
